Oeschinensee Panorama Hike was absolutely stunning trail located in the Bernese Oberland and we think is a must do if you are in the area! When you arrive take the cable car to the top of the mountain. Overall the trail was fairly easy all things considering. There is a pretty steady elevation gain over the first 3 miles as you make your way high above the blue green Oeschinensee lake. You’re view is surrounded by mountains and it’s absolutely breathtaking. There are quite a few spots to stop and take in the views or grab some photos. After about the 3-mile mark, the remainder of the hike is downhill. Some areas were loose gravel, so just be mindful of your steps. There are a few huts/restaurants along the way as well as the lake, so grab a beer or a bite to eat or if you’re brave enough take a dip in the glacial water (I was not!).
